[ARCHIVED] Douglas County 5-Star Certification

Sterling Ranch Community Authority Board

Known as the 5 Star State Certification Program or the 5 Star Variance Program by the CDPHE, the program in Douglas County will be known as the COVID Best Practices Business Certification Program and those who seek and achieve successful certification will receive designation as a Certified COVID Best Practices Business.  

The COVID Best Practices Business Certification Program is a voluntary local certification program that enables businesses to operate at a sustainable capacity while ensuring compliance with COVID-19 transmission controls and best practices. See below for how this program will go into effect in Sterling Ranch!

STERLING CENTER - INDOOR DINING IS NOW AVAILABLE!

Douglas County is still in LEVEL RED. This means the Sterling Center can operate at a LEVEL ORANGE.

  • 25% capacity for indoor seating (50 people). Outdoor dining will still be available.
  • One person from each party will be REQUIRED to sign in with your name, email, and phone number AT EACH VISIT for contact tracing purposes. Tables with clean pens will be available at each entrance.
  • Face coverings are REQUIRED. When you are at your table, we ask that you only remove your face covering when actively eating or drinking.
  • All tables will be placed 10 feet apart to allow for social distancing between parties. Please do not move any tables and chairs.
  • Sanitation of high touch surfaces, tables, and chairs will occur every hour.
  • All employees will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms prior to working at the Sterling Center.
  • Atlas Coffee will be offering online orders for pick up and Grist Brewing Company will be offering curbside pick up for at-risk populations.

Atlas Coffee, Grist Brewing Company, and the CAB all worked diligently to achieve this 5-star rating! Help us stay open and ensure your entire party is complying with the rules and regulations while you enjoy the Sterling Center.

THE OVERLOOK CLUBHOUSE

Douglas County is still in LEVEL RED. This means the Overlook Clubhouse can operate at a LEVEL ORANGE.

  • Face masks are REQUIRED when entering or using the facility, including when exercising. 
  • Please be respectful and keep a safe social distance of 6 feet or more from staff and others.
  • Fitness Center: 4 people RESERVATIONS REQUIRED - CLICK HERE!
  • Great Hall: 34 people
  • Clubs & Group gatherings can resume in the clubhouse. Social distancing guidelines must be followed for club and group activities.
  • Designated exercise reservations for at-risk populations will be available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings for the fitness center.
  • At the end of each exercise block, staff will be wiping down all high touch surfaces including door handles, elevator buttons, counters, railings, light switches, and all fitness equipment.
  • Wipes are provided in the fitness center, please wipe down all equipment after each use.
  • Employees will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms prior to working at the Overlook Clubhouse.
