In Our Backyard
Life here begins with the land. Sterling Ranch is in a valley surrounded by the majestic Rocky Mountains, national parks, and open space with abundant scenic views, trails, parks, and open space to roam.
Our history reflects our respect for the land and leaving the smallest imprint possible. Our deep connection to nature is reflected in our Prairie Management Plan, the preservation of our eco-system, and our water management system.
This land was ranched for over 100 years and continues today In partnership with the Clough Cattle Company. Our cattle move from pasture to pasture throughout the year. This practice prevents overgrazing, aids in fire mitigation, optimizes plant regrowth, and allows the same piece of ground to be grazed multiple times during the growing season.
There are over 1,300 acres of open space within Sterling Ranch for current and future generations to enjoy. Open spaces honor animal migration patterns within the community.
Sterling Ranch has its very own Prarie Management Plan to ensure that throughout development, local area wildlife are considered and cared for.
